Transcripts of full meetings of the council.

I just believe that this is trying to control the way that businesses are trying to run their own individual business.

From the ground up from small businesses, the way that it is with the way that money comes in -- and I understand where people were saying to change a menu, but the way that money comes in, it doesn't always go out. And so when people call out, the amount of extra time and the extra expense that would have to be undertaken to correct things lays on other people, and then that increases their hours and then there's overtime. We encounter problems every day, and with this bill with being able to call out in certain ways, I just believe that each business should be able to do it in their own way. That's it.
